THEY LIVE (1988) AT THE SAVOY

29 August 2022
8:30pm

When out-of-work drifter John Nada (WWF wrestler “Rowdy” Roddy Piper) arrives in Los Angeles, he ends up finding more than just a job. By chance, Nada discovers a pair of sunglasses with the mysterious power to reveal the true nature of society - subliminal propaganda hiding beneath the LA sheen, and alien beings living amongst the human race.

What do they want, and why are they here? Join us at the Savoy Cinema on Monday 29th August to find out!

With biting '80s satire reflecting the pop culture and politics of the era, a trademark soundtrack from John Carpenter and Alan Howarth, and one of the longest and funniest fight scenes in cinema history, They Live is the camp cult classic that seems more relevant today than ever.
